The Highlands Ranch Hot Rodders club is not just open to Highlands Ranch residents. Anyone from the surroundings areas such as Lone tree, Littleton, Parker, Centennial, Castlerock are welcome. Musclecars, hotrods, classic cars, sports cars are all welcome. All years of American Muscle cars and Hotrods are welcome. Import and Eurpoean cars must be 1980 or older, (Classic / Vintage).
I founded this club mainly to further the car hobby in the southern suburbs and to hopefully get other car owners interested in activities such as Saturday night cruise to various locations. Also I try to get the members and their cars involved in various shows, like the Highlands Ranch Classic Car Show held every June, one which we are now a co-sponsor.
We also host a show of our own in Oct. called the “Cool Colors of Autumn Car Show”. It's also beneficial to have a large group of car enthusiasts together to help deal with car issues when it comes to home owners associations, and local regulations.
I myself still drive the Red 66 GTO ( On the members page.) during the winter months, as long as the streets are clean, mainly because it's just too much fun driving it to stay away from for more than a couple weeks, (Or any time I watch a show like My Classic Car, Horsepower TV...etc ). I do however respect those of you that don't want to take any chances with your pride and joy.
